Just a thought about Sunday. God is good, Solid Rock is on the move and growing. We are seeing more and more people in search of a real God. So my advice, scoot over and make room. Your friends and family are coming and meeting Jesus. Our new series started this Sunday, “Crazy Love” “The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood. and we saw His glory with our own eyes”. Jesus left Heaven and moved into the lives of people, can we do any less? We have friends and family waiting for us to move into and become involved in their lives. Jesus had something to say about living an abundant life, a life worth living and people listened to Him. You and I also have something to say, and we need to be saying it, if we refuse to tell them about Jesus because of fear or maybe embarrassment, we are in effect saying we don’t care what happens to you and you can go to Hell. Let me be clear, people who don’t know Him and do not have a personal relationship with Him, will die in their sins and spend eternity in Hell. We need to show them His love, we have been called to overthrow darkness, to be a light and to unlock their prisons. All this month we are talking about “Crazy Love” let’s go love people into the Kingdom of God. Also remember the partnership class this Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Without a doubt God demonstrated “Crazy Love” by sending His son to walk amongst us. Without a doubt Jesus demonstrated His “Crazy Love” by enduring the cross so that our sins would be covered. However, we sometimes forget about the fact that Jesus is still walking the earth today wanting to demonstrate His “Crazy Love” again, but this time he wants to demonstrate it through us.

Just a thought or two about Sunday, we experience a great presence of the Lord today. Several responded to first time salivations, whenever Jesus shows up miracles happen. The greatest miracle is people crossing over from death unto life. We also baptized several people today, their testimonies of how Jesus changed their lives was amazing.
Some had recently returned to the Lord, others God had delivered them from drug addiction and alcoholism. Whatever the story, Jesus is in the business of crossing people over from death to life. This is why Solid Rock exists, to see lives transformed. Let me pose a question to you, how many people do you know, who can count on you sharing the life changing story of Jesus with them or put another way, if you were them could you count on you to share Jesus with you? Happy Valentines Day. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. Now that’s an awesome valentine gift. It shows us when you truly love someone, you give your entire self to them. Jesus loved us so much, that He left Heaven and the worship of all the angels and came to live among us and laid down His life for us. Jesus said “no greater love has any man than this, that a man lay down His life for his friends” Jesus gave His life to show us His love, the least we can do is show the one we love our love, by giving him or her the best of who we are. Today we saw more salivations and people wanting God to break through the devil’s siege in their lives, so they can once again hear God tell them about His love for them and plans for their lives. For all you married couples treat your spouse the way you want to be treated, to all you singles looking for love, slow down wait on God and let Him bring you the person He has for you. Don’t forget to bring someone with you to church, there are plenty of people looking for Jesus and you could be the one to introduce to the greatest Valentine in the world! What an awesome day Sunday, we launched our new series” The pursuit of Love and Happiness” everyone is in pursuit of something, with most who just want to be happy and loved. It sounds simple enough, but like we have all heard, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Expectations can be a real trap, if we have unrealistic expectations. If I drive this I’ll look successful, if I look like that I’ll be happy, if I’m married, if I’m single, etc. you get the point. God has real expectations for you and He wants to fulfill them in your life. The expectations I had were people would be saved and others challenged by the word and God didn’t disappoint, several responded to the altar call somethings never get old. We have several new people coming, continue to pray and be involved in helping reach people with the Gospel. Great things are happening and greater things are coming! Several of you have asked about water baptism, so prepare to be dunked at 3:00pm Feb. 21st at Stone Church. They have graciously lent us their baptism tank. So let’s take the next step together.
