Just a couple of thoughts before slipping off to dream land. God is an awesome God. He never fails us. He desires to show off His power in our lives. I can honestly say, He has never failed me. For those of you who have taken the New Testament in 30 day challenge, you won’t be disappointed. I know for me personally I have been refreshed by familiar passages of scripture and challenged by things I hadn’t seen before. During our “all staff” time, many of the staff said they were developing a new found craving and hunger for His word. One staffer said she wouldn’t allow herself to enjoy her granddaughter until she read her chapters for the day. That’s commitment. I want to challenge you, if you havn’t started reading, do it, you’ll be joining over 3000 other churches across America, who are reading through the New Testament in 30 days. If you are, you know that your faith is growing and you can feel and see your hunger growing for the word of God. So don’t stop now keep reading, keep praying and keep growing. One last thought, our new set of connect groups have started, so join one or two or more. We have everything from Driven by Eternity, to Bunco, to prayer and a lot in between. There is something for everyone. No more excuses, no more sitting idle and wasting time, let’s grow together. Also thank you for the wonderful gift and card for my birthday.
