Just my thoughts about today, before calling it a day. We started our new series, “Red Letter Christmas” taking the baby out of the manger. The result of today’s time together was four people giving their lives to Jesus. That never gets old for me. Jesus has given us the greatest gift in His forgiveness of our sins and the salvation of our souls. We also had with us the missionary from Mexico we support, Willem, who shared with us stories of seven year old boys being sold into prostitution, but how God is using him and his team to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and many are being saved. Let’s continue to pray for him and these young children, that they would continue to respond to the message of God’s love. As we look forward to the Christmas holiday, I want to remind all of us that more people are open to the gospel message at this time of year, than at any other time of year. Having said that let’s ask the Holy Spirit for divine opportunities to share the good news of a Baby who grew up and gave His life for our salvation. One more thought, as you prepare to buy that special gift for that special someone, remember the greatest gift of all, is that your name is written down in Heaven. With that I will say good night and have a great week. -Pastor Dan
